Last week my daughter spent a day playing disc golf in the woods with her dad.
When she came back home she emptied out the contents of her bag.
This is what it consisted of.
I couldn’t help but to smile and laugh at all she had displayed before me.
She definitely shares in my love of nature, but clearly we have
a different idea of what is “take home” worthy. I love that though.
She is definitively her own person, that’s for sure! Oh, and she said she
brought the peanuts along to feed to the squirrels. How thoughtful.
A project began brewing in my head.
We have a ton of stamps and have collected some canvas bags from our
local craft store over the years. “Hey, Savannah. Do you want to make
a nature purse?” She beamed with excitement at the thought. So here you
have it. A nature bag to carry along for all of the rocks, nuts and grass that
may otherwise come home in their pockets!
- A long roped canvas bag. Usually found in the “blanks” department of craft stores.
- Nature stamps. Craft stores have a ton of these too, but we have purchased many online.
Now let them get creative!
Amazon has a wonderful collection of nature stamps!
